Good food, wonderful people, charming decor

Great food great service, perfect.

I ordered a beef and cheese chili rellanos and he ordered a tamale but we both were served the same sauce and I did not have cheese on my rellanos. The chips and salsa were good but usually they are never ending. I also ordered queso but was told they did not have the sause but usually that is the cheese served on chili rellanos. I ordered guacamole and chips and it was good but was floored at the $10.99 price more than we have ever paid before. Both of us had a soda and total luch was over 60 far more than any other Mexican restaurant I have enjoyed and usually I have a huge margarita with my meals. Now I know why the place was so empty at lunch hour. Customer service and atmosphere were great.

Informal atmosphere, yummy food, lots of variety, wonderful staff. Full bar and a juice bar, too. It's one of our regular go-tos.

Chicken taco meat was tough. Fish taco had one tiny piece of fish. Each lunch entrée suppose to come with chips and salsa. However 2 of us got one basket and told to share. Fried ice-cream extremely greasy. Not going back.

Cute decor including plants, super fast service , woman is very quick and accomodating. Found this gem on a random Google search for Mexican in Catskills, but it's has more than Mexican. I've gone twice in the last two weeks, both times mid afternoon on Saturdays.

So happy we stopped here. The food was awesome and the service was AMAZING! We go out to eat quite a bit, and I swear this was the nicest waitress we've ever had. She was super busy but always had a smile on her face. She was just a pleasure to be around. Thank you for a great evening!

I had a nice meal. Great portions for the price and everything tasted good! Will return! They also serve mofongo which is hard to find up this way.

Great food

I'm originally from Austin, Texas, moved here about 10 years ago and am always on alert for good Mexican food, which is difficult to find here! I love the enchiladas verdes here. Usually green sauce is sweet and disappointing, theirs is very spicy! Rice and beans good and a good kids menu. Los guaraches(corn patties with black beans, lettuce/tomato/sour cream and queso fresco) also delightful. The horchata margarita is a must try. Friendly service. We get takeout here a lot.

Great menu, great service, priced well. Try the Burrito Supreme, it’s awesome... I usually get it with the marinated steak. We have dinner here often and have never had a bad meal or bad service.

Best Mexican in the area, and my husband loves it as he is a Mexican food fanatic. He says it's the closest to Mexican food from Los Angeles, where he lived for 15 years. Highly recommended. Make sure you try their horchataritas.

I brought my son for lunch. The salsa to start was amazing. Lots of flavor. The fish tacos were outstanding. Left feeling full and satisfied.

I was surprised to find Mexican/ Latin restaurant in upstate NY. The food was very good. The portion sizes were large even the appetizers ( quesadillas) and 3 traditional tacos which was served with rice and beans. You should check it out!!!!

Best Mexican food

I really feel like I could be in a small Mexican eatery because of decor and atmosphere; excellent food, always more than you expect. Large menu, drinks or non alchohol beverages makes this a fun family restaurant, workplace lunch or dinner spot in Cairo, NY. From the thruway 20 min. Worth the ride if you have the time. City prices.

While in the town of Catskill my wife and I decided to dine at the la Casa Latina and let me tell you that I have had Mexican food in other Mexican restaurants and they didn't come close to the authenticity of classic Mexican food like La Casa Latina. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and my wife the salmon. Bought dishes were flavorful. Will definitely come back when in the area. A must go place if you really want to taste authentic Mexican food.

Found this place while traveling down from Lake George to CT . Nice little place. Nice decor, great food and good service. Definitely worth stopping for.

Food not at all good. Steak in my fajitas was extremely tough. Expensive.

Authentic Mexican cuisine, great Cadillac margaritas.

Attentive service. Great food. Would give 5🌟 if they had a public restroom. Still a place to to eat authentic Spanish cuisine if you're in town.

Good food, very filling, has that earthy authentic Mexican food taste.But I'm giving it four stars cause it was a little mild. I understand selling to the masses but I like a little more heat in my Mexican food.Burrito was huge, with a nice mix of vegetables rice and beans. Perhaps a little light on the beef and I did start on a side that was mostly rice. Still very good.Very cutely decorated place, definitely met my craving for Mexican food as we are stopped in this cool town taking down our mast on our sailboat before transiting the Erie Canal on Dragon's Lair a Catalina 470.

Great food, wonderful small family restraunt.

Good food but over priced. Does not represent good value. Quality is good but doesn't merit high prices.

Horrible. At first we were very excited to find this place. The Spanish beer was old and smelled bad. Both appetizers were disappointing, both of our dinners were bad. The salmon was bad. Our waitress threw away our two full dinners and still charged us for six items. Now we know. Now you know.

Family owned Latin cuisine. I love the foods that bring me back to my Latin roots.

Do not waits your time ... the food is nothing like the menu says...drinks are horrible and don't be surprised if the flies rush you out.

The molé is the best you can get in the area and the frozen margarita was spot on. I highly recommend the tacos borrachos, the enchiladas poblanos and the armadillo eggs. They also have mofongo!

Great Margaritas and Mexican food

Best margaritas ever. It's a juice bar so they are made with fresh fruit. Great, authentic Mexican.

Wonderfully warm and attentive service in this family owned and operated restaurant. All cooking is done on premises and is, hands down, the best Mexican food I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot over the last 50 years since it's one of my favorites)! I have not ordered from the bar so cannot comment on that, but the food is excellent. Our sweet waitress was attentive and remembered where we sat on our only previous visit as well as remembering what I had ordered when we were there on that earlier visit. She made us feel right at home!We plan to revisit this gem repeatedly when we're in the area and have requested "take-out menus" to pass on to others in the area who appreciate this wonderful cuisine.

Smaller portions than expected for Mexican food. Food and drink were average not bad. Waiter forgot our appetizer and brought out our entrees.

Small traditional Mexican restaurant with excellent fresh smoothies. Call ahead for large parties, we had six people and felt a little cramped. Very upbeat and delicious food.
